FirstSwing Pre-Season Workout: 2012

Back by popular demand!!!!

We have had quite a few FirstSwing members and players contact us in the past two weeks regarding a pre-season workout or preparation session for the coming baseball/softball season. As a result FirstSwing will be offering a "Build Your Tool Box" session, Sunday, February 26th, at Kellogg Middle School from 9am-noon. The cost for the session is $60.00 and is limited to 40 players. ( Klouters see the newsletter for your cost).

The workout will include building skill sets with defensive fundamentals, throwing/pitching, and conditioning. We will provide a positive "wake-up" call for those seriously preparing for the 2012 season. Each session is basically for players 6-14 and those who want to work hard to "Get Good"!! Age is not a consideration as all athletes must learn to work together!! There will be a Hitting Clinic at a later date.

Each participant will receive new handouts as well a gift and "surprises"!!!!

Each player should bring: Glove, baseball gear, workout shoes(we are indoors), water, JACKET, and snack.

This session is set up for players who wish to tone up for tryouts, renew the "fundies" of the game, and learn the drills that will improve all facets of their game.

Players must read and fill out the Tool Box Exercise. They do not have to bring it with them but must be PREPARED to answer questions and discuss the topic!! Yes, this is mandatory HOME WORK!!!
