Coaching Staff
Our coaching staff is our strongest asset. Each coach at FirstSwing must meet one of at least two criterion. 1) Have played at the collegiate or professional level or 2) Coached at the high school level.
By setting these strict standards, you are ensured of the correct fundamentals being taught at all times. Also, each camper is exposed to successful role models. Our coaches have achieved at a high level within the camp format and get to know each camper, providing a positive influence in their development There is one staff member per team.

Executive Director
Phil Rognier: 50+ years experience coaching and teaching baseball of all levels. Founder of Baseball Connect" an international baseball program Played college and professional baseball. A Masters Degree in Education and has developed educational curriculum programs for youth and professional players. Has directed and consulted youth camps for over 25 years.
